TEACHING PEDAGOGY

I love to teach and my philosophy regarding education is rather broad. My pedagogy depends on the cultural and preparatory background of the specific students. It takes more than knowledge and "teaching math"; more so, it requires insight and understanding of students' concerns and struggles. I try to be a professor who can help the students with their goals, while establishing an atmosphere of respect, comfort, and intrigue. If students leave my class with the "I hate math" methodology, I do not think I served them well.
